Bishop of Durham on the Big Read - Lent for Everyone
From Tweed to Tyne, and way down to south of the Tees, plans are underway to get church people from a wide variety of Christian denominations joining in a project called The Big Read. The project is the brainchild of the Bishop of Durham, Tom Wright. The Big Read will see a series of talks happening in the area and a specially produced book launching in time for Lent – “Lent for Everyone.”
For 54 Days from Ash Wednesday until after Easter we are broadcasting reading from Lent at 7am, 2pm & 11pm based on writing by the Bishop of Durham. Ruth Dent talks to Bishop Tom, The Bishop of Durham.
