Snake Davis at Teesdale School
Snake Davis is well established as one of the UK’s leading Saxophonists. He is in demand from the biggest names on the British Popular music scene, as well as visiting artists from overseas. As resident saxophonist on “Tonight With Jonathon Ross” he played with the likes of, James Brown, Smokey Robinson, Chaka Khan and many more. He has been seen regularly on TV with the Eurythmics, M-People and B*Witched. Snake played the haunting sax intro on the Take That hit “A Million Love Songs.”
On the 13th June 2010, as part of the Swaledale Festival, Snake and his band come to Barnard Castle. On the 14th January Snake visited Teesdale School and spoke to Peter Dixon about the plans for the event in June which includes working with 20 young musicians from the Teesdale and Swaledale area.
