Durham is bidding to be the UK City of Culture in 2013. The team behind the bid are working hard to persuade the judges that Durham would be worthy of this prestigious accolade. Durham County Council Director of Regeneration visited Teesdale on the 14th September to talk to people in Teesdale about the bid. He called into the Radio Teesdale studios and spoke to Peter Dixon about the bid timetable, key things that will enable Durham to win and how you can get involved.
