In Conversation with Ryan O'Donnell from Quadrophenia
Quadrophenia is at the Sunderland Empire from Tuesday 7th to Saturday 11th July.
Set in London and Brighton at the height of the Mod era, QUADROPHENIA is told through the eyes of Jimmy, a hedonistic style conscious teenager searching for a place to belong and a girl to love. Misunderstood by his parents and stuck in a dead end job, he sets off on a trip to Brighton that will change his life forever.
With music, lyrics and concept by Pete Townshend, the stage adaptation is by Jeff Young, John O’Hara and Tom Critchley. Ryan O’Donnell plays Jimmy. Ryan spoke to Peter Dixon about the show, working with Pete Townsehend and future plans for the work in progress production.
