Swaledale Festival - Ann Pilling
Ann Pilling will be reading extracts from her new book “Home Field” at 4pm at the Open Mic Poetry Reading at the Drawing Rooms at Simonstone Hall, Hawes on 28/5/9. Her new musical play “Semmerwater” will also be performed at the St Andrew’s Church in Grinto on the 5/6/9 – this event is already sold out. Peter Dixon spoke to Ann last year and talked to her about her work. She also read her poem “Prayer before birth.”
