David Benson rose to fame following the incredible success of his debut solo show about comedian Kenneth Williams. He is now recognized as the leading performer of biographical one man shows in the UK.
On Friday the 8/5/9 he is appearing at the Darlington Arts Centre with his latest production, “David Benson Sings Noel Coward.” David spoke to Peter Dixon about the show, Noel Coward and the latest subject for his theatrical scrutiny – a play about the life and works of the writer, wit and lexicographer Samuel Johnson.
