Barnard Castle Vision - The Box in Galgate Opening
The Barnard Castle Vision Information Point is conceived of as a beacon and takes the form of a glass box. It is hoped that Radio Teesdale will soon be broadcasting programmes from “The Box” in Galgate. The Box was officially opened on Friday March 6, 2009. Principal architect, Tim Bailey, from Xsite was the man responsible for the design of The Box. Tim has been an architect since 1992 and has been involved with a diverse range of realised projects with contract values between £50,000 and £6million throughout the North East and London. Peter Dixon went along and spoke to Tim about this project.
