In Conversation with Vin Garbutt
Vin Garbutt was nominated in the 2007 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in the category of “Best Live Act.” On the 31/1/9 he visited Barnard Castle to appear at the 9 Kings Bistro. Before the gig he came into the Radio Teesdale studios and recorded two live tracks (“Teacher from Persia” and “When the lark salutes the sky”). He spoke to Liz Franklin of Folkal Point about his career, his musical influences and his worldwide tour.
