Celebrating Women Of Colour
2010-03-08 bySusanna will be profiling the accomplishments of black women sadly often overlooked in the media.
“As a mixed heritage woman brought up in a predominantly white community the lake of visible black and mixed heritage women has presented me with challenges, so I want to celebrate black women and start to redress the balance. As part of my programme I will be interviewing Floella Benjamin whose appearances on Playschool and Playaway where very significant to me.”
