PART ONE of a two hour interview of Dr Ian Green, MD of Greentrax Records on the Mary K. Burke Show.
Says Mary: “I had the pleasure of the company of Dr Ian Green, managing director of Greentrax Recordings on my show on Sunday 27 March 2011. Ian came in to talk in depth about his autobiography “Fuzz to Folk”. I also invited Ian to choose the programme playlist which of course all comes from the Greentrax catalogue. Ian gave very honest and frank accounts from his childhood to present day some of which saddened me; some had me doubled over with laughter and I found his book to be a fantastic read, regardless if I’d know him or never met him in my life. Some amazing and true stories from a very well respected man . Thank you for sharing your life Ian.

Mary K. Burke’s special guest playing live on the show on Sunday 20 February 2011 was Mikey Coleman from Co Tyrone, Ireland – the birthplace of Mary’s late grandmother.
“It was a real privelege to meet such a talented yet salt-of-the earth artist whose songs make you think very deep” says Mary.
Folk singer/songwriter Mickey Coleman is the latest sensation to hit the Irish music folk scene. Mickey’s talent for penning songs, which in some way or another have shaped his life and which have captured the hearts of many in his live performances, has been well documented in songs such as ‘The Brantry Boy’, ‘My Coalisland Girl’, ‘The Holylands Belfast’ and ‘Kilkeel Fishermen’.
Mickey has released his much awaited second album “A Mothers Lullaby.” In this album his thoughts have been transformed into verse with his poetic and artistic talent he has written these wonderful evocative songs.
Mary says: “We are privileged to introduce this young man to the world stage of ground-breaking singer/songwriters. A Mothers Lullaby is the next step in Mickey’s journey up the road to becoming one of the great folk singers both in Ireland and here in the states. He’s surely ‘walking the walk’ with A Mothers Lullaby! Brilliant Mickey, just brilliant”
