Making a visit to Celtic Music Radio studio 1 on Wednesday afternoon, 4 April, was American singer-songwriter Stacey Earle, who is the sister of alt-country singer Steve Earle.
She has recorded five studio albums to date, three with her husband Mark Stuart who is playing with her on her Scottish and UK tour dates.
Stacey Earle and Mart Stuart played to an intimate audience at The Rio Cafe, Hyndland Street, Glasgow on the Wednesday evening, and prior to that Bob McWilliam had a chat with Stacey and Mark during the Homeward Bound programme on Celtic Music Radio 1530AM.

Miss Quincy interview and set with Bill Morris, Monday 2 April 2012
Canadian singer Miss Quincy was in town for a gig at The Ferry, Glasgow on Sunday 1 April and after that she visited studio 1 at Celtic Music Radio on Monday afternoon, 2 April 2012 on the Homeward Bound programme for a live session and chat with Bill Morris.
Coming together from the far reaches of British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, the band currently calls the road its home. Her band, The Showdown will be joining Miss Quincy for her third tour of the UK and Europe as well as a cross Canada tour that will include many appearances on summer festival stages.
