Saltire @ Identity

The 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery was the trigger for a series of arts and history projects throughout East Renfrewshire, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. These artists and CD album is part of that work. The performers collaborated to produce a thought-provoking compilation exploring emotions and ideas associated with the concepts of freedom, self-expression and personal identity.

The concert was broadcast ‘live’ by Celtic Music Radio from the stage of the Eastwood Park Theatre, Giffnock on Friday 20 February 2009.
