Sounds from the Strangers into Citizens rally
On Monday May 4th 2009 somewhere within the region on 15-20 thousand people shared in the Strangers into Citizens rally in central London.
I recorded the voices, music, prayers and cheers throughout the day and this program is a montage of the sounds I recorded.
The Strangers into Citizens campaign is calling for an earned route to full rights for a large proportion of the estimated 500-750 thousand undocumented migrants who live in the UK. For more information click on the link to their website.

Love this – great work. I attended the rally with people from The Salvation Army and really enjoyed the atmosphere. This montage captures it all pretty well.
